Iran Demands U.S. Conditions for Strait of Hormuz Reopening

Iran has established significant conditions for the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, including the withdrawal of United States forces from the region, financial compensation, and an end to the ongoing war. Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated that normal shipping would not resume until the U.S. meets these demands.
