Iran Demands Expulsion of US, Israeli Envoys for Oil Safety

Iran has issued a statement urging European countries to expel U.S. and Israeli ambassadors to facilitate safe passage through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a vital maritime route for global oil shipments. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that Iran would not allow any disruption to its oil exports and warned of broader military measures if attacks on its shipping persist.

The statement comes amid escalating tensions in the region. Donald Trump responded on his Truth Social platform, threatening that if Iran interferes with oil shipments in the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. would retaliate twenty times harder.

He framed his warning as a commitment to protect global commerce. Additionally, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi stated that the only condition for halting hostilities with Israel and the U.S. is compliance with no further aggression.

Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, noted that the security of the Strait of Hormuz is unlikely to be achieved if the U.S. and Israel continue to provoke conflict.
