Ownership Dispute: Ganduje's Family Denies Ownership of Dala Inland Dry Port

Fresh facts have emerged regarding the ownership of Dala Inland Dry Port (DIDP) in Nigeria, with the management denying claims that the family of former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje owns the company. The Secretary of DIDP, Barrister Adamu Aliyu Sanda, refuted the reports, stating that no member of the Ganduje family has ever been a shareholder or director of the firm.

Sanda clarified that the port was initially owned by Ahmad Rabiu, who later invited City Green Enterprises (CGE) to invest in the project. The statement issued by Sanda on October 8, 2025, emphasized that neither the Kano State government nor any member of the Ganduje family was involved in the transaction, as confirmed by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
