Prominent Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman-Bauchi Passes Away at 98 in Bauchi, Nigeria

Sheikh Dahiru Usman-Bauchi, a prominent Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniya Sufi Order, died at the age of 98 in Bauchi, Nigeria. Known for his influential voice in Islam and spiritual guidance, he dedicated his life to promoting peace, religious understanding, and unity among diverse communities.

Sheikh Usman-Bauchi leaves behind a legacy of scholarship and mentorship, survived by 61 children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His funeral prayers were scheduled for November 28, 2025, in line with Islamic rites.
