ISWAP Confirms Killing of Brigade Commander Uba in Borno Ambush

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has confirmed the killing of Brigade Commander Uba in Borno State after an ambush. The Nigerian Army initially declared Uba safe but later confirmed his death.

ISWAP released a photograph showing Uba's blood-stained combat wear to support their claim. The incident occurred during an ambush on a patrol near the Sambisa Forest, resulting in the deaths of four personnel.

ISWAP accused the Nigerian Army of lying and claimed responsibility for capturing and executing Uba.
