The incident coincides with legal disputes involving cyberbullying accusations against Tonto Dikeh and others. Iyabo Ojo also denied claims linking her to a WhatsApp group allegedly formed by a suspect named VeryDarkMan, aimed at seeking justice for Mohbad's death.
