On Friday night, Carter Efe emerged victorious in a celebrity boxing match against Portable, dethroning the latter's reign as champion. The event was held at Balmor Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

Efe described the match as "so easy," highlighting his ability to significantly damage Portable's face during the fight. He noted that he had already inflicted damage in the first round, which weakened Portable further in the second round, leading to Portable fainting in the third round.

The bout concluded with a unanimous decision from three judges, scoring the match 27-30 in favor of Carter Efe. As a result of his victory, Efe walked away with a cash prize of N50 million, solidifying his status as a rising star in the boxing scene.
