Benue Governor's Aide Recounts Abuja Kidnap Ordeal - Gratitude for Safe Return

Atu Terver, Special Assistant to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, shared his harrowing experience after being kidnapped in Abuja. Terver expressed gratitude for his safe return after being abducted on September 17, 2025, and found alive two days later.

He described the ordeal as traumatizing, emphasizing it was not a funny experience. Terver thanked everyone for their prayers and support during his two-day captivity.

He highlighted the seriousness of the situation, mentioning he was taken to Christine Hospital in Abuja for a thorough examination and medical treatment. Authorities are yet to release details on the circumstances of the abduction.
