ID Cabasa Challenges Age-Wisdom Assumption on Podcast

In a recent episode of the Clariti Zone podcast, Nigerian music executive ID Cabasa discussed the common assumption that wisdom increases with age. He argued that it is flawed to presume that older individuals are inherently wiser due to their life experiences.

Cabasa clarified that while many people perceive themselves as wiser with age, this does not mean that their experiences are always relevant or competent. He pointed out that some experiences can become obsolete over time, and thus, age alone should not determine respect or wisdom.

Cabasa emphasized the importance of continuous personal growth, stating that growing older does not automatically equate to growing wiser. He compared this to how computers learn, suggesting that just as computers require care and updates, individuals must also actively engage in personal development rather than relying solely on their age.
