JAMB Releases 279 Withheld UTME Results After Review

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of 279 previously withheld Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results after conducting investigations into allegations of examination malpractice. This decision was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday.

The newly released results are in addition to those previously made available to candidates. JAMB clarified that the results were withheld due to suspicions of malpractice, but investigations showed no prima facie case against the affected candidates.

The board also warned that candidates found culpable in the investigations would have their results canceled. Candidates whose results have not yet been released were advised to check their status by sending their UTME registration numbers to the designated phone number.
