Johnnie Walker Launches Exclusive Vault Collection for Nigeria

Johnnie Walker has unveiled The Vault Collection, which includes 55 ultra-exclusive bottles of a bespoke blend crafted by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker.

This release commemorates Nigeria's 65th independence anniversary and pays tribute to the nation's heritage and progress. The collection features rare Scotch whisky from six ghost distilleries that operated in 1960, including Brora, Glenury, Royal Lochnagar, Caledonian, Carsebridge, and Port Dundas.

Each bottle is uniquely crafted, adorned with bespoke Aso Oke fabric, ensuring no two pieces are identical. The whisky is described as having a nose of salt and spice, with flavors of raisin and apricot, and a palate delivering Madeira syrup and sweet, moist fruit, shaped by sherry cask maturation.

Joan Odaf, the market manager for Diageo South West and Central Africa, stated that the release honors the relationship with Nigeria and celebrates the nation's incredible journey. The collection is available by invitation to a select group of connoisseurs, marking a significant moment in the luxury spirits market.
