Group Declares: Jonathan Won't Get Automatic PDP Ticket in 2027 - Transparency Emphasized

The Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement (GHSM) has declared that former President Goodluck Jonathan will not receive an automatic ticket for the 2027 presidential election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This statement comes in response to suggestions of Jonathan's possible comeback to the PDP by Professor Jerry Gana.

GHSM emphasized the need for an open and transparent process in selecting the party's flagbearer in line with the Electoral Act of 2022. The group highlighted the importance of allowing the party delegates to choose the candidate, stating that God's will would ultimately determine the outcome.

GHSM criticized Jonathan's past governance, citing concerns about ethnic tensions and religious bigotry during his tenure.
