Plateau State Governor Defects to APC, Sparking Celebrations in Jos

Governor Mutfwang of Plateau State officially defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a ceremony held at the Polo Ground in Jos. The event was attended by top APC leaders, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman Prof.

Nentaw Yilwatda, Sen. Godswil Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abba, Governor Simon Lalong, Governor Hope Uzodimma, and others.

Governor Mutfwang was presented with the APC flag during the ceremony, signifying his new leadership role within the party. The defection is expected to impact the political landscape in Plateau State and strengthen the APC's presence in the region.
