Anthony Joshua, the 36-year-old former two-time unified heavyweight world champion, secured his first victory since a tragic auto accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in December last year, which resulted in the loss of two close friends who were also his trainers. In the match against Prenga, Joshua was knocked down twice in the first round but managed to survive and recover.

The second round saw a dramatic turnaround as Joshua delivered a series of punches, culminating in a powerful hook that knocked Prenga out, marking his 10th second-round knockout win. With this victory, Joshua improved his professional boxing record to 30 wins out of 34 bouts, with 27 of those wins coming via knockout.

Prenga, on the other hand, faced only his second defeat in a 22-fight career. This win positions Joshua for a potential matchup against Tyson Fury in the anticipated 'Battle of Britain,' with a date to be announced later this year.
