Rescued Students in Niger and Kebbi States Receive 2-Year Scholarships Amid Education Crisis

Edureach, an edtech organization, announced a two-year full scholarship for students recently rescued from a mass abduction in Niger State. Mamu Alhaji Muhammad, the founder, highlighted the urgent need to safeguard the future of children affected by the persistent school attacks in northern Nigeria.

The education system in the region faces challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, teacher shortages, and economic issues. Muhammad emphasized the importance of reintegrating the rescued students into a safe learning environment and called for collaborative efforts to address the insecurity threatening education in northern Nigeria.
