Barcelona's Jules Kounde has tipped his teammate, Yamal, for the Ballon d'Or over other contenders like Mbappe and Dembele. The Ballon ceremony, organized by France Football, is scheduled for September 22 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, with the shortlist already unveiled.

Despite Mbappe and Dembele enjoying successful seasons, Kounde believes the spotlight should fall on Yamal, who extended his contract with Barcelona until 2030. Kounde praised Yamal's impact and selflessness on the pitch, highlighting his impressive statistics of 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 appearances across competitions last season.

Yamal's contributions were crucial as Barcelona secured the domestic treble, winning LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España.
