ADC Criticizes Delta Governor Over Harassment Silence

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly criticized the Delta State Governor for his silence regarding recent harassment incidents in Ozoro. Abdullahi, a representative of the ADC, described a video circulating online as horrific and highlighted the troubling nature of the incidents occurring in the town, particularly affecting young women and girls in educational institutions.

He expressed concern that these events make the community feel unsafe. Abdullahi insisted on a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and called for the police to conduct thorough investigations to identify and prosecute every individual involved in the harassment and assault of women in Ozoro.

He condemned the governor's failure to address the matter directly, labeling it a moral leadership failure and stating that such incidents are unacceptable in Nigeria.
