Federal Lawmaker Escapes Assassination Attempt by Terrorists in Niger State

Federal lawmaker Jafaru Mohammad Ali Damisa narrowly survived an assassination attempt by suspected terrorists in Niger State. The ambush occurred along Lumma Babanna Road in Borgu Local Government Area.

Damisa, representing Borgu/Agwara Federal Constituency, was heading to an official assignment when gunmen opened fire on his convoy. The attack, described as a terrorist ambush, led to casualties, with one soldier losing his life and several others sustaining injuries.
