Fubara Returns to Rivers Govt House, Pledges Reconciliation and Development

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara recently visited his hometown in Opobo after resuming office at the Government House in Port Harcourt. Fubara's visit followed his return to office after the lifting of the state of emergency in Rivers State.

He acknowledged the role of President Bola Tinubu in brokering peace among key stakeholders, including Nyesom Wike and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly. Fubara expressed commitment to reconciliation, effective governance, and completing ongoing projects in infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

He emphasized the need for unity and cooperation to build a stronger and prosperous Rivers State, thanking Tinubu, the National Assembly, and other leaders for their support during times of political uncertainty.
