Gov Abiodun Boosts Grassroots Participation with New Political Appointments in Ogun

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has announced fresh political appointments to boost grassroots participation. The government appointed 236 political assistants, with five assistants per ward, to enhance governance at the grassroots level.

The initiative aims to strengthen civic engagement and ensure closer interaction between the government and the people. The appointees are expected to support the delivery of democratic dividends, articulate the needs of their wards, and provide feedback to the government.
