IGP Redeploys FCT Police Commissioner Amid Rising Insecurity

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, redeployed the FCT Police Commissioner, Ajao Adewale, over increasing insecurity in Abuja, notably highlighted by recent violent crimes. This move comes after incidents like the death of Somtochukwu Maduagwu during an armed robbery in Abuja.

The redeployment aims to address the security challenges in the nation's capital. Other key officials like Miller Gajer Dantaway and Wilson Aniefiok Akpan were also reassigned to new posts in Kogi State.
