Kano Rep Jibrin Joins APC, Backs Tinubu's Re-election Bid

Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives from Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, has officially defected from the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared his support for Bola Tinubu's re-election bid. Jibrin's move is seen as a significant boost for Tinubu's political ambitions, especially in Kano State.

The defection was marked by a gathering of thousands of constituents in Kofa, Bebeji, where Jibrin endorsed Tinubu for a second term. The event also saw 2,000 Islamic clerics offering special prayers for Tinubu's peace and development initiatives in the region.

Jibrin emphasized the need to correct past mistakes and garner support for Tinubu's candidacy.
