Over 500 NNPP Members Defect to APC in Kano, Citing Confidence in Tinubu's Leadership

In a significant political move, more than 500 members of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) in Kano State defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The defection ceremony was presided over by Rabiu Bichi, the Managing Director of Hadejia Jam River Basin Development Authority.

The defectors expressed growing confidence in President Bola Tinubu's leadership, economic reforms, and food security initiatives. Prominent figures like Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Abdullahi Abba commended the defectors for joining the APC, emphasizing unity and progress in Kano State.
