JUST IN: Oyo Governor Makinde Gifts SUV to Popular Musician Following Fire Incident

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has gifted a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to popular gospel singer and broadcaster Yinka Ayefele following a fire incident at his Music House complex in Ibadan. The fire destroyed a section of the building housing Fresh FM, causing property worth millions of naira to be lost.

Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Otunba Ademola Ojo, presented the vehicle on behalf of the governor, praising Ayefele's resilience and enduring contribution to the state's entertainment sector. Governor Makinde expressed his sympathy and support for Ayefele during a visit to Fresh FM, emphasizing the singer's role as a symbol of perseverance and inspiration for millions of Nigerians.

The gesture is intended to encourage Ayefele to continue pushing forward despite the setback.
