President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Signing Economic Partnership Agreement with UAE

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after participating in the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. During the summit, he signed a comprehensive economic partnership agreement with the UAE aimed at strengthening economic cooperation, increasing bilateral trade and investment, promoting technology transfer, and fostering collaboration in key sectors like energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and mining.

President Tinubu also announced a joint Nigeria-UAE Investopia event scheduled to take place in Lagos in February to attract global investors and mobilize $30 billion annually for climate-friendly industries and energy transition reforms to expand electricity access nationwide.
