Rivers House of Reps Members Defect From PDP to APC in Political Shift

Six Rivers State House of Representatives members, including Solomon Bob, Victor Obuzor, and others, loyal to Nyesom Wike have defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). This move reflects the ongoing power struggle within the River State PDP, with Wike increasingly aligning with the ruling party at the federal level.

The defection is expected to weaken the PDP's influence in River State and heighten internal party tensions ahead of the 2023 general elections.
