JUST IN: Tinubu Speaks with Dutch Prime Minister Schoof on Phone

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently had a phone conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, as confirmed by Tinubu's Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun. The specific details of their discussion were not disclosed.

Since taking office in May 2023, President Tinubu has actively engaged in foreign relations, visiting 36 countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. This diplomatic effort has reportedly attracted $50 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to Nigeria within two years.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaye, highlighted that Tinubu's June trip strengthened Nigeria's international partnerships with countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, China, India, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands.
