U.S. and Israel Launch Major Military Strike on Iran

On Saturday, multiple U.S. media outlets reported that the U.S. military began a significant military strike against Iran, following an announcement from Israel regarding its own attack. This coordinated action was confirmed by American officials and was described as a response to escalating tensions in the region.

The Pentagon did not immediately comment on the reports. President Donald Trump characterized the joint U.S.-Israeli operation as an effort to defend American citizens and eliminate imminent threats from the Iranian regime, which he described as a "vicious group" that endangers U.S. troops and allies worldwide.

In light of the situation, the U.S. Embassy in Qatar issued a shelter-in-place order for its personnel.

The strikes temporarily closed Iranian airspace as part of the military response.
