Kabiru Tanimu Turaki Submits PDP Chairmanship Forms Amidst Controversy

Former Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, has officially submitted his nomination forms to contest for the position of National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) at the upcoming national convention in Ibadan, Oyo State. He is reported to have adopted a consensus approach with major stakeholders.

Meanwhile, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sule Lamido, who is also vying for the chairmanship, faced challenges in obtaining the nomination form and expressed intent to seek legal redress. The PDP convention is scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan.
