Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has snubbed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and announced his support for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the upcoming by-elections in Kaduna. Despite initially adopting the ADC's political platform, El-Rufai urged the people of Zaria Chikun to vote for the SDP on August 16, criticizing the ruling party and warning against voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) beyond 2027. El-Rufai's move has been described as a patriotic effort to rescue Nigeria from the grip of the current administration.
