Panteka Artisans Support Uba Sani's Re-election in Kaduna

Artisans and residents of Panteka Market in Kaduna State have expressed their support for Governor Uba Sani's re-election as he commissioned several completed infrastructure projects at the market. The event saw a large turnout, with attendees chanting “Sai biyu ne,” indicating their backing for Sani's second-term bid.

The projects included the reconstructed Chechnya-Panteka Market Road, Lemu, Enugu, and Malam Madori roads, an ICT centre, and a market clinic equipped with an ambulance. The Chechnya-Panteka Market Road was constructed by Farmtrac Nigeria Limited and is part of a broader initiative to improve access and trading activities in the market.

Governor Sani emphasized the significance of Panteka Market, which supports approximately 40,000 artisans and apprentices, stating that the government has invested over N10 billion in the project without displacing any artisans. He highlighted the importance of preserving economic activities while enhancing infrastructure in the market, which is recognized as a major hub for artisans in Africa.
