Bayern Munich Edges Real Madrid in Champions League Clash

In the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg, Bayern Munich triumphed over Real Madrid with a score of 2-1 at the Bernabeu. Harry Kane, returning from a minor injury that caused him to miss an international friendly against Japan, played a pivotal role.

Although subdued in the first half, Kane was involved in the buildup to Luis Díaz's goal, which gave Bayern a deserved lead just four minutes before halftime. Following the restart, Kane showcased his skill with a clinical right-footed strike into the bottom corner, leaving Real's goalkeeper Andrii Lunin with no chance.

Bayern's veteran keeper, Manuel Neuer, made four crucial saves, including three from Kylian Mbappé. Despite Jude Bellingham's impressive performance for Real Madrid, the team struggled to mount a successful comeback.

Bayern will carry this narrow lead into the second leg of the quarter-finals.
