Kano Assembly Approves N215.4bn Supplementary Budget for Development

The Kano State House of Assembly approved a N215.4 billion supplementary budget following a request from Governor Abdullahi Ganduje. The Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, confirmed the budget passage during a plenary session presided over by Speaker Jibril Ismail Falgore.

The Assembly reiterated its commitment to overseeing the budget's implementation to ensure proper allocation and utilization of funds by ministries and agencies. The supplementary budget aims to address additional financial needs in the state and enhance development projects.
