Kano Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Killing Friend

Ayuba Sani Tumfafi has been sentenced to 10 years in a correctional centre by Justice Dije Abdu Aboki of the Kano State High Court for the unlawful killing of his friend, Ibrahim Dan Larai. The incident arose from a disagreement regarding waking up for the early morning Fajr prayer.
The prosecution, represented by counsel Amina Uba Adamu, presented three witnesses and three exhibits during the trial. Tumfafi defended himself against the charges.
After reviewing the evidence, the court found him guilty and imposed the 10-year sentence. Additionally, Justice Aboki mandated that Tumfafi pursue both Islamic and Western education while serving his sentence.
