Kano Government Empowers 100 Disabled Students with Learning Materials

The Kano government, in collaboration with AGILE, empowered 100 disabled students with learning materials to ensure inclusiveness in free compulsory education. The Commissioner of Education, Ali Haruna Makoda, emphasized the importance of empowering students with special needs through targeted initiatives.

The distribution of school bags, uniforms, lunchboxes, and educational materials aims to support the students' learning. The state government's policy focuses on inclusivity and ensuring that the right beneficiaries are identified for such projects.

AGILE's State Project Coordinator, Mustapha Aminu Maisalati, highlighted the ongoing efforts to reach and support disabled students in Kano, renovating schools and providing necessary resources for inclusive education.
