Kano Government Calls for Arrest of Ex-Governor Ganduje Over Inciting Remarks

The Kano State Government has demanded the arrest and investigation of former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for comments deemed to pose a threat to public order. The State Executive Council expressed worries over Ganduje's remarks during a meeting, prompting concerns about security and potential links to recent attacks.

The Council urged security agencies to probe Ganduje's alleged involvement in forming an illegal militia. Additionally, the government assured residents of its commitment to peace and security.

The Council also approved new projects worth N54.8 billion, including an emergency operations center.
