Katsina State Implements Paperless Governance System to Enhance Efficiency

Katsina State Government, under Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, has launched a paperless governance system to digitize public service delivery, streamline processes, and improve data sovereignty. This initiative aims to eliminate bureaucratic bottlenecks, reduce costs associated with physical files, enhance transparency, and boost productivity across ministries and agencies.

The first phase, led by the Permanent Secretary and MDA directors, will enhance inter-agency communication, speed up decision-making, and ensure secure document handling. The state plans to construct a data hub by 2026 for reliable data sovereignty and efficient e-governance services.
