Katsina University Honors Late President Buhari with Posthumous Degree

Katsina University conferred a posthumous degree on late President Buhari during its 14th convocation ceremony. The university's governing council approved the award to honor Buhari's lifelong commitment to Nigeria's political evolution and visionary leadership.

The institution aimed to recognize Buhari's immense contributions to the growth and strengthening of the country's tertiary education sector. Former NIA Director-General and Ambassador Ahmad Rufa advised graduates to uphold patriotism and selfless service to the nation.

He emphasized the importance of deploying education to foster an inclusive society where citizens live with dignity, peace, and equal opportunities. The convocation ceremony witnessed the awarding of degrees and diplomas to graduating students across various faculties, along with the conferment of honorary degrees on distinguished individuals for their outstanding contributions to national development.
