Kayode Ajulo Celebrates Mother’s Legacy at Symposium

Kayode Ajulo organized a symposium at the Federal University of Technology Akure to celebrate the 91st birthday of his mother, Christianah Ajulo. The event, themed "Girl Child Mentorship," aimed to empower young girls across Ondo State by addressing issues related to entrepreneurship, leadership, and professional development.

This is not the first time Christianah Ajulo has been honored; a colloquium was held for her 90th birthday the previous year. The symposium emphasized the importance of mentorship and the need for stronger protections for girls against gender-based violence and child marriage.

It also highlighted the significance of role models in various fields, including law and public service, to guide young girls in navigating challenges such as social media pressures and mental health. Kayode Ajulo reflected on his mother's unwavering support and the values she instilled in him, which continue to influence his work in the justice sector.
