Nigerian singer Kcee has spoken out about his rumored feud with fellow highlife star Flavour, clarifying that he entered the music scene before Flavour. The dispute reportedly stemmed from allegations of music plagiarism, with Flavour being accused online of copying music.

Kcee, in a recent interview, emphasized the importance of preserving Igbo culture and warned against attempts to gatekeep it. He traced the tension between him and Flavour back to their first encounter, where talent manager Soso Soberekon introduced Flavour with hopes of securing a record deal.
