Kebbi ADC Demands Release of Malami, Accuses EFCC of Bias

The Kebbi State chapter of the African Democrat Congress (ADC) is demanding the immediate release of Abubakar Malami, former Attorney General of the Federation, from EFCC custody, alleging political bias. The ADC accuses the EFCC of overstepping its mandate and engaging in selective law enforcement to intimidate opposition figures.

Malami's detention is seen as part of a broader attempt to coerce opposition leaders. Despite being in custody since December 8, Malami has not been formally charged.

The ADC vows to challenge what they describe as an ineffective government at all levels.
