Kebbi Government Denies Involvement in Malami Convoy Attack

The Kebbi State Government has denied involvement in the attack on the convoy of the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami. The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ahmad Idris clarified that the claims of an APC member being behind the violence were false and misleading.

Governor Idris swiftly summoned a security meeting to restore peace and tighten security measures. The incident occurred when Malami visited Birnin Kebbi for a condolence visit and his convoy breached the law by using sirens.

The government assured the public of maintaining calm and investigating the matter thoroughly for justice. Additionally, it was noted that other dignitaries, including the PDP governorship candidate, had visited Kebbi without any disturbances.
