Kebbi State to Host Security Summit on Insecurity in Northern Nigeria

Kebbi State, in collaboration with the Arewa Broadcast Media Practitioners Forum (ABMPF), is organizing a security summit to tackle insecurity and violent extremism in Northern Nigeria. The summit aims to bring together broadcast policymakers, security professionals, and other stakeholders to develop strategies to enhance public trust and counter violent extremism.

Notable figures like Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar III are expected to grace the occasion. Scheduled for November 10, the summit will involve high-level discussions among 100 delegates from radio and television stations across Northern Nigeria, alongside security experts, traditional and religious leaders, civil society organizations, and government officials.
