Troops Rescue Workers from Bandit Attack in Kebbi

On August 14, 2026, troops from Operation CLEAN SWEEP IV successfully rescued construction workers who were attacked by suspected bandits at their work site in Tsatsunbe Village, Southern Kebbi State. Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama reported that the troops quickly mobilized to the location and engaged the attackers with superior firepower, compelling them to retreat into nearby bushes.

Following the confrontation, the troops conducted a search of the area, recovering three motorcycles that had been abandoned by the fleeing bandits. During the attack, the construction workers had sought refuge in the bushes but were later located and safely escorted back to their camp by the troops.

Remarkably, no casualties were reported among the construction workers during this incident.
