Kelechi Iheanacho Shines as Celtic FC Eyes Titles

Kelechi Iheanacho has been regaining his form at Celtic FC, scoring three goals in his last three games, including two during extra time against St. Mirren.

The former Nigeria international has not been called up to the national team in a year, but his recent performances have drawn attention. Mutiu Adepoju, a 1994 Africa Cup of Nations gold medallist, praised Iheanacho's abilities.

Despite Nigeria's failure to qualify for the 2022 and 2026 World Cups, Iheanacho remains a competitive striker alongside Victor Osimhen and others. Celtic manager Martin O'Neill noted that Iheanacho's playing time has increased, and he is expected to start in the upcoming match against Falkirk FC.

After joining Celtic as a free agent from Sevilla in September 2025, Iheanacho faced injury challenges but is now looking to sustain his resurgence and contribute significantly to Celtic's domestic title chase.
