Kidnapping Scene: VDM Drags Military, Shares What They Did: “You Would Have Written RIP for Me”

Social media activist Verydarkman, also known as Martins Vincent Otse, shared details of a recent kidnapping incident in Edo State. He described how his team confronted the kidnapper and rescued the victim, who unfortunately died later.

Verydarkman felt betrayed by the military, who he claimed abandoned their duty to protect and instead prioritized their own safety. Despite efforts to assist the victim, the military convoy drove away without stopping to check on the situation.

Verydarkman criticized the military for their actions, stating that they should have overpowered the kidnapper. The rescued victim is still receiving treatment, with a bullet lodged in his brain.

Verydarkman also shared screenshots of the victim's medical reports and criticized those who prioritized recording videos over helping the victim. This incident highlights the challenges faced in addressing kidnapping and the need for better response protocols.
