Killings: APC tackles ADC over Tinubu’s foreign trips

The APC has criticized the ADC for calling on President Tinubu to suspend his foreign trips and declare a state of emergency in Katsina and Zamfara States following recent killings and kidnappings. The ADC had condemned the attacks in Katsina where 30 worshippers were killed and in Zamfara where 144 people were kidnapped, 24 killed, and 16 injured.

The APC's National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, accused the ADC of not understanding governance and engaging in opportunistic politics. The APC stated that the ADC's suggestion for the President to remain grounded was insensitive and opportunistic.

The APC argued that Tinubu's international engagements were crucial for attracting foreign investment and strengthening security partnerships to combat terrorism and crime. The APC urged the ADC to focus on fixing issues instead of peddling false narratives and propaganda.
