KWAM1 Declares Interest in Awujale of Ijebuland Throne Succession

Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM1, has expressed his desire to ascend to the throne of the Awujale of Ijebuland in a letter addressed to the Fusengbuwa Ruling House. The 68-year-old musician's proposal aligns with the provisions of the Ogun State Chieftaincy Law and Ijebu Customary Law.

Following the death of the previous ruler, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, after a 64-year reign, KWAM1 has formally notified the ruling house of his intent to be considered for the vacant stool.
