Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso Resigns as Kano Commissioner for Youth and Sports

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, the son of former Kano Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and a prominent figure in the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), has resigned from his position as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Kano State. The resignation was disclosed in a statement by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on Monday.

Mustapha's decision to step down from the Kano State Executive Council comes as Governor Yusuf reportedly plans to leave NNPP and join another political party.
