Kwankwaso Supporters Propose Peter Obi-Kwankwaso Ticket for 2027 Elections to Challenge Nigerian Political Order

Supporters of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso have put forward a proposal for a joint presidential ticket involving Peter Obi and Kwankwaso for the 2027 elections in Nigeria. The move aims to build a broad political coalition cutting across regions and party lines to address the country's growing public dissatisfaction.

The idea, unveiled by Abba Sadauki Gwale representing the Kwankwaso support group, reflects the collective wishes of loyalists backing the ticket to tackle Nigeria's worsening problems. The proposed alliance sees Peter Obi, a prominent politician with support in the South, joining forces with Kwankwaso, who has a strong political base in the North, especially in Kano and neighboring states.

The alliance focuses on removing the ruling Progress Congress from power and ending what they describe as years of failed leadership under President Bola Tinubu. The alliance aims to promote policies centered on economic reforms, youth empowerment, and the welfare of ordinary Nigerians to address rising food prices, insecurity, and unemployment.
